In his message on the 10th anniversary of his enthronement, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry thanked the faithful for their support in his ministry. The video of the Primate’s sermon was published by the UOC's Information and Educational Department.
As His Beatitude noted, the past decade was filled with various events, many of which were bitter.
However, as the Primate pointed out, we must thank God for everything, as the path to the Kingdom of Heaven is never easy.
"We thank God for what has happened during these 10 years of this ministry. I probably suffered less than all of you because you labored for me, helped me, and carried my cross for the most part. You, dear fathers, mothers, all of you, dear brothers and sisters, through your labors," he said.
The archpastor wished the faithful to continue their lives by thanking God and relying on His mercy.
"May the Lord grant us courage and strength in the future so that our strength is not in weapons or money, but in God, who is our Protector and Strength," His Beatitude wished.
As previously reported by the UOJ, the UOC marked the 10th anniversary of the enthronement of His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry.
