Metropolitan Philip offers condolences following missile attack on Poltava

Metropolitan Philip of Poltava and Myrhorod, on behalf of himself and the clergy and believers of the Poltava Eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC), expressed heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased and those injured in the tragic event that occurred on the morning of September 3, 2024. This was reported by the press service of the Poltava Eparchy.
Tomorrow, September 4, memorial services for the deceased and prayers for the health and recovery of the wounded and those affected by the missile attack will be held in all churches and monasteries of the Poltava Eparchy.
As previously reported by UOJ, His Beatitude had earlier expressed condolences in connection with the missile attack on Kyiv.
