In Kyiv, work continues on the dismantling of temporary structures, including kiosks, set up near the National Reserve "Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra". At the end of August, 13 such structures were removed, according to the Department of Territorial Control of Kyiv.

"We received requests from both the military and residents of the capital to remove these kiosks. They blocked access to the national reserve and hindered the free movement of city residents and visitors. After the kiosks were dismantled, the area looks significantly better," said department director Mykhailo Budilov.

He also clarified that after dismantling, all structures are sent to an impound lot. Owners can retrieve them by covering the costs incurred by the city. Additionally, after the temporary structures are removed, work continues to improve the area, including repairing asphalt damaged by the long-term presence of the kiosks.

As reported by the UOJ, the Lavra Reserve is inviting veterans of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to participate in archaeological excavations.
