On September 11, TSN published a report about the severe beating of "Metropolitan" Clement of the OCU in Kyiv, but illustrated it with a photo of UOC Metropolitan Clement (Vecheria), the head of the Information and Education Department of the UOC.
The news on TSN’s website stated: "Late in the evening of September 10, Metropolitan Clement of Crimea and Simferopol, who is also a member of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, was attacked in Kyiv."
However, the photo accompanying the publication showed Metropolitan Clement of Nizhyn and Pryluky (Vecheria), with a caption that read: "Head of the UOC Information and Education Department, Metropolitan Clement."
As of 2:00 PM, the photo was replaced.
Additionally, the website liga.net published a note claiming that Metropolitan Clement denied being attacked, saying, "It was definitely not me." However, this article was also later removed.
As the UOJ previously reported, the "hierarch" of the OCU was beaten in Kyiv on the eve of the Crimea Platform summit, which he had arrived to attend.
