Chief rabbi blesses GUR head Budanov

The Chief Rabbi of Ukraine, Moshe Reuven Asman, blessed Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, on the eve of the holiday Yom Kippur, known as the Day of Atonement.
Moshe Reuven Asman announced this on Facebook, also posting a joint photo with Budanov, which was cited by the Dukhovny Front publication.
"On the eve of the great and holy day of Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement). I had the honor to bless for a good, sweet, and victorious year – the legendary person, head of the GUR, Kyrylo Oleksiyovych Budanov."
The celebration of Yom Kippur in 2024 begins on the evening of October 11 and continues until sunset on October 12. This holiday, also known as the Day of Atonement or the Day of Judgment, is observed on the tenth day of the Hebrew month of Tishrei and is considered a time when the Lord decides a person's fate for the coming year.
As reported by the UOJ, the rabbis of Ukraine told Zelensky that he is an example of fearlessness for the country.
