On October 17, the Archangel Michael Cathedral of the UOC in Cherkasy was forcibly seized by unidentified individuals in camouflage on their second attempt. According to Radio Svoboda, "clergy" of the OCU have already conducted their "service" in it.

After raiders stormed the cathedral grounds, beating believers and spraying them with tear gas, and Metropolitan Theodosiy was hospitalized following a blow to the head, representatives of Dumenko's structure decided to "pray" in the desecrated Orthodox shrine.

“A service in Ukrainian has begun in the St. Michael's Cathedral in Cherkasy,” commented Radio Svoboda.

The video shows dozens of OCU clergy performing their ritual in the center of the church.

As reported by the UOJ, raiders in Cherkasy opened fire on UOC believers.
