U.S. Senator from Ohio, J.D. Vance, whom Donald Trump previously named as his candidate for Vice President, criticized current Vice President Kamala Harris. In his new post on the X network, Vance wrote:
"The United States should fight against the persecution of Christians all over the world, and it will when President Trump is back in the White House. Kamala Harris has done nothing."
This post came after Donald Trump accused Kamala Harris of inaction during the persecution of Armenian Christians in Nagorno-Karabakh. In his statement, Trump noted:
"Kamala Harris did NOTHING as 120,000 Armenian Christians were horrifically persecuted and forcibly displaced in Artsakh. Christians around the World will not be safe if Kamala Harris is President of the United States. When I am President, I will protect persecuted Christians, I will work to stop the violence and ethnic cleansing, and we will restore PEACE between Armenia and Azerbaijan."
As reported by UOJ, Senator Vance received letters from imprisoned UOJ journalists.
