In the Lviv region, Petro Kudrych, the head of the Church of the Holy Martyrs Cyprian and Justina in the village of Pryslip, Turkiv district, denied the statement by the Lviv Regional Military Administration about the dissolution of their parish at the community’s request, reports kozakTv1.

Kudrych called such a statement absurd and a double violation. He emphasized that the UOC religious organization dedicated to the Holy Martyrs Cyprian and Justina functions as a legal entity and has not consented to transition to the OCU or to dissolution.

“We have all the necessary documents, including our charter. We did not authorize anyone to represent our community on our behalf. If the dissolution of our religious community actually occurred, it would be doubly illegal. It is a gross violation of Ukrainian Law and the Constitution,” he stated.

As previously reported by the UOJ, media sources indicated that as of November 4, 2024, three UOC religious communities remain registered in the Lviv region.
