On December 10, at the European Ecumenical Consultation in Warsaw, Epifaniy Dumenko, head of the OCU, stated that all Russian religious centers support Russia's war against Ukraine.

Dumenko remarked, "We are all witnesses to the fact that not only the Moscow Patriarchate and its leader, Kirill Gundyaev, publicly refer to Russian aggression as a 'holy war.'”

"All major religious centers in Russia participate in justifying the war, through which Kremlin tyranny, as it did during the Cold War, seeks to influence the positions and decisions of churches worldwide, as well as resolutions of international and ecumenical organizations, including the World Council of Churches," the OCU leader stated.

Previously, the UOJ reported that a religious scholar accused Dumenko of deceit.
