With the blessing of Archbishop Nathaniel of Volyn and Lutsk, on the occasion of the saint patron’s day, a joint service was held in the “church house” of the UOC community.
During the service, the believers offered up an intense prayer for peace in Ukraine and for the unity of world Orthodoxy. They also prayed for deliverance from coronavirus infection and the health of medical workers.
After the liturgy, the clergy and believers performed the traditional religious procession, after which they sprinkled everyone with holy water.
The rector of the parish, priest Anatoly Demyanchuk, thanked the clergy, parishioners and guests of the event.
