With the blessing of Archbishop Nathaniel of Volyn and Lutsk, on the occasion of the saint patron’s day, a joint service was held in the “church house” of the UOC community.

During the service, the believers offered up an intense prayer for peace in Ukraine and for the unity of world Orthodoxy. They also prayed for deliverance from coronavirus infection and the health of medical workers.

After the liturgy, the clergy and believers performed the traditional religious procession, after which they sprinkled everyone with holy water.

The rector of the parish, priest Anatoly Demyanchuk, thanked the clergy, parishioners and guests of the event.

The ancient Church of the Holy Apostle Luke in the village of Dorosyni was transferred to the disposal of the OCU supporters following the meeting of the territorial community, which took place on February 17, 2019. The parishioners of the UOC, headed by the rector, have equipped a private house for services, in which they are currently gathering for prayer.
