In his post-inauguration speech, U.S. President Donald Trump said that during an assassination attempt on July 13, 2024, it was the Lord who saved his life.

“Just a few months ago in a beautiful Pennsylvania field, an assassin’s bullet ripped through my ear. But I felt then and believe even more so now that my life was saved for a reason. I was saved by God to make America great again,” said the new President of the United States.

Shortly before this speech, during his oath of office, Donald Trump declared, “So help me God.” The same words were echoed during the oath by the new U.S. Vice President, J.D. Vance.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that one of Trump’s first executive orders would recognize only two genders in the U.S.
