UOC Chancellor meets with Serbian Ambassador to Ukraine

On November 25, 2021, Metropolitan Anthony (Pakanic) of Boryspil and Brovary, Chancellor of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Serbia to Ukraine Aca Jovanovic. This was reported by the website of the Department of External Church Relations of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

The meeting was held with the blessing of His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kyiv and All Ukraine. It was also attended on behalf of the UOC by Archpriest Nikolai Danilevich, Deputy Chairman of the Department for External Church Relations of the UOC.

The parties discussed the development of relations between the Orthodox peoples of Ukraine and Serbia in the ecclesiastical, social and cultural spheres.

We will remind, earlier Aca Jovanovic told about his meeting with His Beatitude Onuphry and the fact that the Serbian people unequivocally support the UOC.
