Ukrainians are told Christmas on Dec 25 is "vaccine against Russian world"

The video was posted on his Facebook page by Lviv resident Sviatoslav Litinsky, known for his rejection of the Russian language. Litinsky was the first Ukrainian citizen to receive an internal passport without a Russian-language page, he also forced foreign companies to label household and electronic appliances in Ukrainian, reports DailyLviv.
Ukrainians should abandon the celebration of the Nativity of Christ on January 7, as they do by the "Moscow Orthodox calendar" and celebrate Christmas on December 25 "with the world", the authors believe.
The video features Bohdan Pankevich, an ideologist and one of the founders of the Ukrainian Galician Party, who wrote on his Facebook page a month ago: “Two years ago, the Ukrainian Galician Party launched the 'Christmas with the world' action. We personally brought tens of thousands of signatures under appeals to Patriarch Sviatoslav and Metropolitan Epifaniy to their offices ... It's time for us to celebrate with the entire Christian world, and not with Russia and its religious satellites."
On the night of January 7, the Julian calendar, Christmas is celebrated by 4 of the 15 Orthodox Churches – Russian, Georgian, Jerusalem and Serbian. In addition to them, Athonite monasteries, living according to the Julian calendar, as well as many Catholics of the Eastern rite (for example, the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church) and some Protestants, celebrate Christmas on this day.
As reported, the Pope wished Christmas could bring peace to Ukraine.
