In the Zdolbuniv Deanery of the Rivne Eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC), another congress of Orthodox youth was held, bringing together young men and women around important topics of spiritual life. The organizers named the event "Meeting Gatherings," the Rivne Eparchy's press service reports.

The event was opened by Archbishop Pimen of Rivne and Ostroh, who addressed the youth with words of support, emphasizing the importance of live communication, mutual help, and sincere interest in one another.

The main topics of the gathering were questions of love – true, pure love based on Christian values. The speaker on this topic was Archpriest Vitaly Velichko, rector of the Church of St. George the Victorious in the village of Kunin. Well-known volunteer Roman Molchanov spoke about Orthodox volunteering.

The "Meeting Gatherings" featured open discussions where participants asked questions and received answers on topics important to them.

The young people also enjoyed warm, informal fellowship – everyone was treated to fish soup, sandwiches, and sweets. Participants had the chance to get to know each other better, exchange thoughts, and spend time in a friendly atmosphere.

The diocesan press service noted that such gatherings are a wonderful opportunity for Orthodox youth not only to deepen their knowledge but also to find like-minded friends, do good deeds together, and strengthen their faith.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that a charity concert in the Rivne Diocese helped children with cancer.
