On February 24, 2025, it became known that the heating in the cell of Metropolitan Arseniy, who is held at the Dnipro Detention Center, is not working. This was reported by the press service of the Sviatohirsk Lavra.
In the midst of the winter cold, this poses a serious threat to the hierarch’s health.
The Sviatohirsk Lavra calls on all believers to intensify prayers for the health and prompt release of Metropolitan Arseniy.
They also appeal to the competent authorities to ensure that the detention conditions for the hierarch meet the standards of humanity and human rights.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that Metropolitan Arseniy, while in detention, called for remaining loyal to the Church.
