Sergei Dmitriev, deputy head of the Office of Social Service and Charity of the OCU, said that they do not need churches of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church without parishioners, reports babel.ua.
“We do not organize a race for the transfer of parishes. We don't need this. We do not need walls and stones, let the ROC keep them. They will return to us later when the Russian Orthodox Church in Ukraine disappears ... Why do I need ten churches if they are empty? " said the representative of the OCU.
At the same time, the facts indicate that often the temples seized by the OCU stand empty.
The UOJ wrote why Drabinko and Dumenko serve in empty churches.
As reported, 22 new churches were built in the UOC in a year to replace the ones seized by the OCU.
