Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople was discharged from the American Hospital of Constantinople, reports the Orthodox Times.
The patriarch was hospitalized after he was diagnosed with COVID-19 after another routine testing. In hospital he stayed for the last six days under medical supervision, infected with the Omicron mutation of the coronavirus, but he suffered the disease easily.
Now the head of Phanar will be self-isolated for three days in the patriarchal residence, after which he will return to his official duties.
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that according to Patriarch Bartholomew, he has been vaccinated four times.
