Date announced for election of Albanian Primate

The election of the new Archbishop of Albania will take place on the second Sunday of Great Lent, March 16, 2025, the UOJ reports from Albania. The election will be held at the Synodal Center following the Divine Liturgy.
The electoral process will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Statute of the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Albania.
Previously, the UOJ reported that the spiritual testament of the late primate was read aloud in Albania.
