The notorious “priest” Roman Hryshchuk, who tours Bukovina, organizing fraudulent meetings on transfers to the OCU, indirectly compared his activities on his Facebook page to the Russian Federation’s war of conquest in Ukraine.
Indirectly acknowledging that it was not members of the church community who voted for the “transition” of the Holy Spirit Cathedral of Chernivtsi, Hryshchuk wrote: “Bukovynians, why didn’t you hold a meeting earlier on the cathedral’s exit from the Moscow Patriarchate?”
The "priest" mocks the round-the-clock prayer of UOC parishioners in his cathedral and claims that they pray "to keep the Ukrainian language out of the cathedral."
"Three years ago, when the Russians entered Ukraine in columns, they did not bring people to the cathedral to pray! And they did not pray so sincerely! And they did not kneel at night! And now: oh, my grief! The Orthodox community of Chernivtsi (and they too) will now have the opportunity to pray in their native language in their native cathedral! What grief! How can we survive such a 'misfortune'?", wrote Hryshchuk.
Earlier, the Union of Orthodox Christians of Ukraine wrote that more than 4,000 believers took part in a religious procession around the UOC cathedral in Chernivtsi.
