As part of a charitable initiative, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church parish in honor of the Pochaiv Icon of the Mother of God in Cologne (Germany) has sent aid to children's institutions and medical centers in Ukraine.

The assistance was delivered to the regional infant orphanage in the city of Bila Tserkva, as well as to a center for medical rehabilitation and palliative care for children in Kryvyi Rih.

In addition, a hospital in Fastiv (Kyiv region) received modern medical equipment that will help improve patient care and provide better working conditions for doctors.

The orphanages that received support were provided with essential household appliances, medical supplies, and a children's play slide, which is already being installed at one of the facilities. Moreover, each child received an individual gift.

This initiative was made possible thanks to the efforts of parishioners who raised funds, purchased the necessary items, and organized their delivery to Ukraine.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that 500 children in Kyiv received Christmas gifts from the UOC’s Department for Social and Charitable Work.
