In Mohyliv-Podilskyi, Metropolitan Agapit performs monastic tonsure

On April 15, 2025, on Tuesday of Holy Week, Metropolitan Agapit of Mohyliv-Podilskyi and Sharhorod performed the monastic tonsure of a cleric of the eparchy at the St. Nicholas Church of Mohyliv-Podilskyi,Vinnytsia region, reports the eparchy's press service.
Archpriest Vitaly Tikhov was tonsured into monasticism with the name Hilarion, in honor of St Hilarion of Pictavia.
After the tonsure ceremony, Bishop Agapit wished the newly tonsured monk Hieromonk Hilarion God's help in fulfilling his obediences and salvation in the Lord.
As reported by teh UOJ, Metropolitan Agapit tonsured priest into Great Schema in Otchenashivka church.
