Metropolitan Longin of Bancheny hospitalized

On the evening of April 23, 2025, it became known that Metropolitan Longin of Bancheny was hospitalized. This was reported on the social media of the Bancheny Monastery.

«We ask for your holy prayers,» wrote the monastery.

The reason for the hospitalization of the bishop has not yet been specified.

The Youtube channel of the monastery published a video of the Divine service and sermon of Vladyka from April 22, 2025 in the Boyany Monastery. The video shows that Metropolitan Longin's neck is supported by an orthopedic collar.

As reported by the UOJ, earlier Robert Amsterdam posted a photograph on the X network of Metropolitan Longin of Bancheny on a hospital bed in intensive care. In his post, Amsterdam indicated that Metropolitan Longin suffered a heart attack during court hearings.
