In Odesa, a great schema tonsure performed

On May 11, 2025, Archbishop Viktor of Artsyzsk made tonsure in the great schema of Archdeacon Pimen, a monk of the Dormition Monastery, reports the press service of the Odessa Eparchy.

The newly tonsured archdeacon was named in honor of St. Pimen the Great.

Earlier, the UOJ analyzed why the number of monks in the Ukrainian Orthodox Church has been increasing during the period of persecution.
