In Pokrovsk, four Christian volunteers injured in drone explosion

On May 17, 2025, in Pokrovsk, four Christian volunteers were injured as a result of a drone explosion.

The incident occurred during a humanitarian mission when young people were helping civilians.

Three young men and a girl sustained severe concussions and multiple shrapnel wounds. The most affected was Yulia – the girl has serious damage to her eye area.

Doctors are making every effort to save her vision and are preparing Yulia for urgent surgery.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that the vicar of the Patriarch of the Russian Orthodox Church announced a collection for drones "for combat tasks".
