In Chernivtsi, believers manage to prevent seizure of UOC cathedral

In Chernivtsi, Orthodox believers managed to prevent an attempted seizure of the Holy Spirit Cathedral of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. This was reported on the Telegram channel Orthobuk on May 22, 2025.

"Today, thanks to your presence and prayer to Saint Nicholas, the threat of seizing the cathedral has been averted," reads the address of the eparchy to the believers.

As reported by the UOJ, the day before, Orthodox Bukovynians reported on preparations for an attempted raider seizure of the Holy Spirit Cathedral.
