Russian Ecclesiastical Mission again welcomes pilgrims to the Holy Land

The Pilgrimage Service of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission, after a two-year break, has resumed receiving guests in the Holy Land, reports the press service of the REM on its site. The break was due to the coronavirus epidemic.

“At present, applications are being accepted to visit the Holy Land starting from April this year, and organized pilgrimage groups can visit Israel and Palestine through the Pilgrimage Service of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission right now,” the electronic resource reports.

The Pilgrimage Service of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem invites guests to visit the holy places of Israel and Palestine: the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the Way of the Cross, Gethsemane, the Mount of Olives, the Gorny Convent and other holy places.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that back in December last year, the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission advised against going to the Holy Land on Christmas Day. The UOC Pilgrimage Centre resumed trips to the Holy Land in early February.
