His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry: Don't panic, the Lord is with us

His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kyiv and All Ukraine addressed the Ukrainian flock. He urged the faithful of the UOC not to panic and expressed the hope that peace would soon reign. The Information and Education Department of the UOC published a video message from the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

“At this fateful time, I urge you not to panic, be courageous and show love for your Motherland and for each other,” he urged.

The Primate of the UOC recalled that in difficult times, we must intensify joint prayer for peace.

“I urge you, first of all, to intense repentant prayer for Ukraine, for our army and our people, I ask you to forget mutual strife and disagreements and unite in love for God and for our Motherland,” he said.

As reported, the UOC Primate urged Putin to stop the war and once again stressed that war between brotherly peoples has no justification.
