Information about food stock found in Tseniava church is fake
The Ivano-Frankivsk Eparchy said that the information about the food stock found in the Church of the icon of the Mother of God "Vsetsaritsa" in the village of Tseniava is a fake, reports the eparchy’s press service.
"There were nuns living in the house on the temple grounds, they baked prosphora in bakeries and needed a small supply of food for their own living. The Ivano-Frankivsk Eparchy appeals to law enforcement agencies to stop the marauder and the radicals from inciting interfaith hatred," the Ivano-Frankivsk Eparchy noted.
On February 28, 2022, supporters of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church (UGCC) seized a church in the village of Tseniava, Kolomyia District, Ivano-Frankivsk Region of Ukraine, which belongs to the UOC community of the icon of the Mother of God "Vsetsaritsa”.
As reported, the UGCC and OCU chaplains in the Ivano-Frankivsk Eparchy are blocking several churches.
