In Ternopil region, TRC detains another UOC priest

The TRC has detained another priest of the Ternopil Eparchy of the UOC, Fr. Georgiy Pryimak, as reported on Facebook by the deacon of the Pochaiv Holy Spirit Skete.
Archpriest Georgiy is the rector of the Holy Trinity Church of the UOC in the urban-type settlement of Vyshnivets. Information that the clergyman is being held in the TRC was published by his daughter Iryna on the morning of June 23, 2025.
The deacon of the Holy Spirit Skete and Iryna are asking for prayers for Father Georgiy.
As reported by the UOJ, on the morning of June 22, 2025, in the city of Shumsk, Ternopil region, TRC employees together with the police detained a priest of the Ternopil Eparchy of the UOC, Fr. Ioann Koval.
Earlier in Kremenets, the TRC detained the rector of the Pochaiv Holy Spirit Skete, Archimandrite Paphnutiy.
