The Deputy Chief of the Main Military-Political Directorate of the Russian Army, Apti Alaudinov, published a video from the "Akhmat" unit, where representatives of the ROC clergy and a Russian imam, together with the military, chant "Akhmat is power", "Allahu Akbar", and "Christ is Risen - Truly He is Risen."
The soldiers hold a flag depicting both the Muslim crescent and the Orthodox cross together.
Alaudinov wrote that "representatives of traditional denominations – Archpriest Gennady, Father Sergiy, and Imam Ilyas Ilyasov – visited the unit" and gave the soldiers "spiritual support".
"This clearly demonstrates our unity! Both Muslims and Christians stand shoulder to shoulder in defense of our values in the fight against the forces of evil," the message states. "We fight side by side against the army of the Antichrist!" Alaudinov emphasized.
Apparently, by "the army of the Antichrist," he meant the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
Earlier, the UOJ reported that in a Moscow church of the ROC, a former Muslim altar server was brutally killed.
