Another recipient of orders from Epifaniy Dumenko detained

On August 2, 2025, NABU and SAP employees detained the head of Mukachevo DSA and former head of Luhansk RMA, Serhiy Haidai, reports «Ukrainska Pravda». Haidai is suspected of "large-scale corruption".

Haidai is known for frequent contacts with Serhiy Dumenko and is a recipient of awards from the OCU. In November 2022, Serhiy Haidai was awarded the Order of Archangel Michael 2nd degree from Dumenko. Shortly before that, Dumenko also received Haidai at his residence. In 2021, Dumenko awarded Haidai in Sievierodonetsk

On May 11, 2025, Haidai attended the «liturgy» of the OCU at St. Cyril's Church in Kyiv, after which he stated that "now St. Cyril's Church will be a place where services will be conducted by the clergy of the Luhansk Eparchy". At the same time, MP from the Servant of the People party Oleksiy Kuznetsov, who was arrested along with Haidai on August 2, was praying at St. Cyril's Church under teh OCU.

As reported, a criminal case has been initiated against Serhiy Voznyi, a businessman who organized a series of raider seizures of UOC churches in the Kyiv region, for embezzlement of budget funds. Voznyi is a recipient of several awards from Epifaniy Dumenko.
