Metropolitan Vissarion of Ovruch and Korosten is in extremely critical condition, as reported on the Telegram channel kozakTv1.

"The health of the bishop has sharply worsened, and tomorrow he will be re-hospitalized at the Shalimov Institute in Kyiv. The indicators are very poor, and the archbishop requires another surgery," the message reads.

Believers of the Ovruch Eparchy of the UOC are asking everyone for prayers for their pastor.

Earlier, the UOJ wrote that Metropolitan Vissarion was taken to the Shalimov Institute hospital in Kyiv for heart surgery. Later, the bishop returned to performing divine services.
