On August 11–12, 2025, entrance exams for applicants for the new academic year were held at the Kamianets-Podilskyi Iconographic Theological School with the blessing of Metropolitan Feodor of Kamianets-Podilskyi and Horodok. This was reported by the press service of the educational institution.

This year, 14 applications were submitted to the school. The admissions committee allowed 13 applicants to take the entrance exams. Based on the exam results, 9 of them were enrolled in  the first year.

The admission campaign began with a prayer service to the Lord with special requests for help and blessing for passing the exams.

The first day included a written test — writing a motivation letter — and a creative exam, during which the applicants copied a fragment of an icon using watercolor with white paint. Between the exams, everyone had the opportunity to attend a service at the cathedral.

The second day was dedicated to an oral exam on the fundamentals of the Orthodox faith, key events of the Old and New Testaments, basics of liturgics, and skills in reading Church Slavonic. After that, interviews took place — an individual one with the rector and a group interview with the entire admissions committee.

The results were announced by the vice-rector for academic and methodological work. The newly admitted first-year students immediately participated in an introductory meeting with their professional instructor, and their parents attended a parent meeting with the rector and vice-rector for educational work.

"Despite the difficult circumstances our country is experiencing, the Lord blessed the current admission campaign, granting an increase in the number of applicants. This inspires and strengthens confidence that the training of future iconographers and Church servants continues to grow and develop," the message states.

As reported by the UOJ, graduates of Kamianets-Podilskyi Iconography School receivd diplomas.
