In Kniazhychi Monastery of UOC, tonsure into Great Schema performed

On August 23, 2025, at the Transfiguration Monastery of the Boryspil Eparchy of the UOC in the village of Kniazhychi, Kyiv region, a tonsure into the Great Schema was performed. This was reported on the monastery's Facebook page.

The rite of tonsure was led by Archbishop Ambrosiy of Zghurivka.

The newly tonsured nun Magdalina received the name in honor of Venerable Anthony of the Caves in her schema tonsure.

As reported by the UOJ, a monastic tonsure was performed at the Kyiv Theological Schools.
