Monastic tonsure performed in Kropyvnytskyi Monastery

On September 3, 2025, a monastic tonsure was performed at the St. Elizabeth Monastery in Kropyvnytskyi, reports the Kirovohrad Eparchy. The servant of God Lidiya received the name Fevronia, in honor of the Holy Right-Believing Princess Fevronia.

The tonsure was carried out by the abbot of the monastery, Archimandrite Manuel (Zadnepriany).

Earlier, the UOJ analyzed why, despite persecution, the number of monks and nuns in the UOC continues to grow.
