On September 18, 2025, on the feast day of Venerable Job of Uholka, Metropolitan Khust and Vynohradiv Mark celebrated a service in the village of Mala Uholka in Transcarpathia, where the saint carried out his spiritual feat and where his relics now rest. During the service, a special prayer was offered for the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and for the granting of peace to our land.

"Venerable Job of Uholka is a great ascetic of the 20th century, who, through his righteous life, humility, and love for God and his neighbors, became a spiritual beacon for many generations of believers in Transcarpathia. His life and feat remind everyone of the power of faith, patience, and prayer, which lead a person to salvation. That is why the day of his memory is especially dear to all who draw inspiration from the example of this holy servant of God», the message states.

Venerable Job was born in 1902 in the village of Iza in Transcarpathia. For his pious life, he received from God the gift of foresight and healing the sick through prayer. On July 28, 1985, Archimandrite Job departed to the Lord. On September 18, 2008, in the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Venerable Job of Uholka was glorified as a locally venerated saint.

As reported by the UOJ, parishioners of the UOC church installed a worship cross on Mount Blyznytsia.
