MP proposes to write "We believe in God" on banknotes

On October 6, 2025, a bill was submitted to the Verkhovna Rada regarding the placement of the inscription "We believe in God" on currency banknotes. The author and initiator of the bill is MP Heorhiy Mazurashu.

The full document is titled: "Draft Law on Amendments to Article 33 of the Law of Ukraine 'On the National Bank of Ukraine' regarding the placement of the inscription 'We believe in God' on banknotes."

Earlier, the UOJ reported that a new bill in support of gender and LGBT was submitted to the Rada.
