The head of the UGCC Sviatoslav Shevchuk consecrated the icon of the Protection of the Mother of God, dedicated to the 16th Separate Aviation Brigade "Brody". On the icon, on both sides of the Mother of God, are depicted the patches of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as well as those of the brigade itself. At the bottom, the abbreviation “16ОБрАА ‘Brody’” is written.

"An icon is not just a work of art, but a window into the invisible world. It is a mystery of the presence of the Person depicted on it. Now the Blessed Virgin Mary will be among our defenders of the sky – we entrust them to Her maternal Protection," Shevchuk stated.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that the UGCC showcased a censer made from a grenade.
