Кyiv LGBT community announces gay pride parade in the capital on 18 June
On Sunday, June 18, the “pride march” of the Kyiv and Riga LGBT communities will be held in Kyiv. This was announced by representatives of the LGBT community in a video posted by Telegram channel Skeptic.
"We invite you to come out for human rights and for Ukraine on June 18 at 12 noon to Riga Pride, which will march together with Kiev Pride," LGBT rights activists said. The location of the event was not specified.
Earlier it was reported that there would be no Gay Pride march in Kyiv in 2022 because of the war. Instead, the main LGBT event was planned to take place in Warsaw. Ukrainian LGBT people also gather for rallies in various European cities.
