TRC seizes parish priest in Bukovynian village of Marshyntsi

On November 19, 2025, staff of the Territorial Recruitment Center (TRC) seized a priest of the Chernivtsi–Bukovynian Eparchy of the UOC – Mitred Archpriest Oleksandr Istratii, rector of the St. Nicholas community in the village of Marshyntsi of the Novoselytsia deanery, according to the Orthobuk Telegram channel.

The authors ask for prayers for the abducted priest. They also call for continued prayers for Fr. Fedir Hnytetskyi and Fr. Valerii Florescu, who were previously mobilized.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that TRC staff abducted a cleric of the Chernivtsi Eparchy of the UOC.
