TRC detains UOC priest serving two village parishes

On December 2, 2025, the Territorial Recruitment Center detained Archpriest Serhii Saviievskyi, a cleric of the Volodymyr–Volyn Eparchy and rector of the parishes in the villages of Sylne and Hupaly, the eparchy reports.
According to the eparchy, the priest was taken directly from his workplace, passed through a military medical commission, and sent to the Rivne training ground. The eparchy calls upon the faithful to pray for Archpriest Serhii.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that a mobilized priest of the Kamianske Eparchy refused to take the military oath.
