In the Transfiguration Kniazhychi Monastery of the Boryspil Eparchy of the UOC, on December 4, 2025, the vicar of the eparchy, Archbishop Ambrose of Zghurivka, performed a monastic tonsure, reports the monastery's press service.

The newly tonsured nun received the name Theophania in honor of the holy queen who suffered for the Christian faith.

After the service, the archbishop addressed the newly tonsured nun with an archpastoral word, reminding her of the significance of monasticism as a path of humility and obedience.

As reported by the UOJ, in Kniazhychi, the brethren defended the monastery from seizure.
