The Cherkasy Eparchy of the UOC reported on the current health condition of Metropolitan Theodosiy of Cherkasy and Kaniv, who has been under medical supervision for a long time.

According to the clergy, the state of the bishop remains stable, but it is too early to speak of a full recovery.

It is noted that doctors have managed to significantly reduce the indicators of inflammatory damage to internal organs, although they still remain several times higher than the permissible norm. The bishop is undergoing intensive therapy and is under round-the-clock supervision by specialists.

The eparchy reported that Metropolitan Theodosiy regularly partakes of the Holy Mysteries of Christ.

"We ask not to cease prayers for the seriously ill Metropolitan Theodosius," the eparchy's appeal states.

As reported by the UOJ, on November 28, the press service of the Cherkasy Eparchy announced that Metropolitan Theodosiy was urgently hospitalized in critical condition. The next day, reports emerged that he was poisoned with heavy metals. On December 4, it became known that the condition of Metropolitan Theodosiy showed signs of recovery.
