UOC believers deliver humanitarian aid to Poltava Regional Psych Hospital

On December 9, 2025, the clergy and believers of the Poltava Eparchy of the UOC organized the delivery of humanitarian aid to a psychiatric hospital and to the families of displaced persons in Poltava, reports the eparchy's press service.

The head of the eparchy's department of social service and charity, Archpriest Andriy Symon, and priest Serhiy Debre, together with volunteers, delivered humanitarian aid to the patients of the Maltsev Regional Psychiatric Hospital of Poltava.

Material support was also provided to families forcibly displaced from areas of active hostilities. The recipients expressed gratitude for the attention and support from the Church and volunteers.

The administration of the medical institution noted the timeliness of the assistance provided, emphasizing that such initiatives are especially important in this difficult period.

The "Blago" volunteer center at the churches of the Martyrs Vera, Nadezhda, Lyubov and their mother Sophia, and to the apostles Peter and Paul, continues to collect clothing, footwear, and essential items for those in need.

As reported by the UOJ, the clergy of the UOC delivered medicines to the Khmelnytskyi Regional Hospital.
