On December 25, 2025, a Divine Liturgy was celebrated in Lisbon at the Church of St. Spyridon of Trimythous of the Western European Vicariate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, in honor of the patronal feast and the fifth anniversary of the parish’s establishment. This was reported on the church’s Facebook page.

The service was led by Bishop Veniamin of Boyarka, head of the Western European Vicariate of the UOC. Concelebrating with him were the rector of the church, Archpriest Vitalii Horzov, and clergy of UOC parishes abroad.

During the Little Entrance, by the blessing of His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufriy, the rector of the church was awarded the right to wear the mitre. After the service, Bishop Veniamin presented certificates from the Primate to parishioners in recognition of their contribution to the development of the parish.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that UOC hierarchs in Bari celebrated a service at the relics of St. Nicholas.
