On December 27, 2025, the Pochaiv Lavra received new monks into its brotherhood. The rite of monastic tonsure was performed by the abbot of the monastery, Metropolitan Volodymyr of Pochaiv. This was reported by the Information and Education Department of the UOC.
Three novices were tonsured and given names in honor of Orthodox saints. The service took place in the presence of the monastery brotherhood and the faithful.
As the UOJ previously reported, relics of St Job and St Amphilochius of Pochaiv were transferred to a church in Khmelnytskyi.
