Zoria: "Russian world" prevents us from settling in Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra

The spokesperson for the OCU, Yevstratiy Zoria, stated that his structure is striving for regular "services" at the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra and the opening of the caves for their believers. However, as he said in an interview with the "Priamyi" TV channel, the process is allegedly being delayed due to the influence of the "Russian world".
In his commentary, Zorya lamented that there is an opinion about the inadmissibility of "provocations" and the unwillingness to "create confrontation". He was obviously referring to the forcible eviction of the monastery brethren from the territory of the Lower Lavra. According to him, this position of the authorities is influenced by certain "supporters of the Moscow jurisdiction, who supported the MP during Yanukovych time."
That is precisely why some individuals are not ready to take decisive steps to, as Zorya put it, “free the shrine”. In his view, the delays are occurring because the roots of the “Russian world” remain strong in certain spheres.
Yevstratiy Zoria added that the "services" of the OCU in the monastery are currently one-time events, although they occur regularly. A spokesperson for Dumenko’s structure stated that they “are raising the issue that our believers must have the opportunity for continuous prayer”.
As UOJ wrote earlier, an OCU "hierarch" stated that the UOC celebrates Christmas on January 7 to divide Ukrainians.
