On January 3, 2025, UOC parishioner and boxer Oleksandr Usyk published a photo with the head of the SBU on Instagram Stories with the caption "We support Maliuk".

Usyk posted the photo in support of Maliuk at a time when there were persistent rumors in the upper echelons of power that Zelensky intended to dismiss the current head of the SBU. A number of opinion leaders spoke out in defense of Maliuk, and Oleksandr Usyk decided to join them.

Let us recall that earlier Usyk financed the restoration of the Shukhevych museum.
