Kyiv Theological Schools to hold annual student conference

The Kyiv Theological Academy and Seminary (KDAiS) announced the XV annual scientific conference "Student Science in Theological School" to be held on March 10, 2025. According to the KDAiS website, the event will take place in Kyiv and bring together students from theological, seminary, and secular educational institutions.

Ahead of the anniversaries of Prince Konstanty Wasyl Ostrogski (500th anniversary of his birth in 2026) and Metropolitan Raphael Zaborovsky of Kyiv (350th anniversary), the conference’s plenary and sectional meetings will highlight their contributions to Orthodox Christianity and religious education. Planned sections include the history of Orthodoxy in Ukraine, biblical studies, theology, and church-practical activities.

The organizational committee is headed by the academic secretary of the Kiev Theological Academy, Archimandrite Mitrofan (Bozhko).

Applications and presentation topics are accepted until February 27, 2025. Participant registration is conducted in electronic format, all details are posted on the academy's website. The conference traditionally brings together students from all over Ukraine.

As the UOJ reported, monastic tonsure was performed at Kyiv Theological Schools.
