On February 3, the country’s top leadership congratulated the head of the OCU on his birthday, the organization’s press service reported.

Volodymyr Zelensky wrote that he values Dumenko’s work carried out “in the name of Victory.” Ruslan Stefanchuk, Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, noted Serhiy Petrovych’s “professionalism, decisiveness, and responsibility.” Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi stated that he and the head of the OCU are “participants in shaping a new configuration of the world elite.” According to Syrskyi, Serhiy Dumenko “persistently forms the understanding that Russia’s war against Ukraine is an existential challenge for the entire Christian world.”

Chief of the General Staff Anatolii Hnatov emphasized that Serhiy Petrovych’s activity is an “unquenchable beacon of spiritual steadfastness and faith” for the Ukrainian people.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that, according to Patriarch Bartholomew, Epifaniy's piety fully justifies his hopes.
